The RFPEasy.org code does not send outline entries to a server. It contains no account creation, upload form, remote proposal processor, paid API call, advertising pixel or analytics script. Do not enter sensitive procurement data, controlled information, personal data, passwords, financial details or confidential client content. Use your organization’s approved systems for those materials.
Open-page state and optional device saving
Outline entries are held in this page’s browser memory while you edit. By default, the tool does not save a new outline to device storage. If you choose “Save this outline on this device,” it stores the plan under the local-storage key rfpeasy-outline-v1 for this website in this browser. A saved plan is restored on a later visit in the same browser. Storage can be unavailable in private modes or restricted browser settings.
Turn off device saving to remove that stored copy. The visible working copy remains in the open page until you replace it or leave. Clearing the browser’s site data can also erase the saved plan. Use caution on shared devices: another person using the same browser profile may be able to open it. This is not encrypted document storage or a backup service.
Exports and deletion
TXT, JSON and CSV exports are generated locally as downloads. Exported files become your responsibility and can be copied or synced according to your device settings. Resetting an outline does not delete exports already downloaded. The inline reset confirmation replaces the current plan; if device saving is on, it also updates the saved copy. Export first if you need to preserve the prior plan.
Website visits and external links
The hosting provider may process ordinary request data, such as IP addresses, requested pages, timestamps and browser information, to serve and protect the website. This browser tool does not control those hosting logs. Following a link to Acquisition.gov, GSA, SBA or the publisher takes you to that provider’s website and privacy practices. Contacting the publisher through its separate site is not part of the local outline tool.
